Race 2: Saturday, April 1, 2017 at Maidu Park

We all have excuses as to why we don't ride more, so this is your chance to compete against your fellow whiners!

    • Does work take up too much of your time?
    • Is family always calling?
    • Are you recovering from an injury?
    • Are you a lady who just needs a day out?!
We've got a category for you!

Need a place to stay? Checkout the discounted room rates.

Getting There
Make sure your directions are leading you to Maidu Drive so you're going to the parking lot, not a street on the other side of the park! (Google Maps has been known to lead people astray at this park.)

There is plenty of free parking at the park.

Start Times and Categories

Age is based on how old you will be on December 31, 2017.
The categories for this series are intended to be a fun alternative to the traditional Beginner, Sport, and Expert options. If given the chance we would ride our bikes all the time, so this is a lighthearted jab at the things that keep us from doing what we love.

Racers will race for approximately 25 minutes, and we will adjust how many laps they do based on how long it takes to do the first lap. There will be giant lap cards that tell racers how many laps they have remaining.

Generally we expect the Work race to be the fastest paced race, and the Injury race to be the slowest paced race.
